2 Months already!?

I can't believe that my little Jonathon is 2 months old today. He is such a sweet baby. Jonathon is our skinny little string bean. He has been growing and filling out more in the last few weeks. He still has a full head of dark brown hair. It was black when he was born, but its lightening, His eyes are blue right now, and I hope they stay that way. He'll be such a heart breaker with dark hair and blue eyes:) He hasn't liked bath time at all, until Saturday, and now he loves them. He started smiling on his own-not gas this last week. His dimples are so prominent, I love them. Jonathon loves to watch people, and his big brothers adore him. They have been a big help to me in getting things or holding him, or keeping Travis out of stuff. Jonathon's not been feeling to well the last couple of days and has a low grade fever which the doctors want me to watch. Poor kid just wants to be held all the time. Which its fun to snuggle, but hard to do anything else. Jon's been my sleeping buddy while Scott's gone. He gets up once at night to eat and then goes right back to sleep.

 

So this last week, Cameron, Travis, and Jonathon have been sick with colds, sore throats.... I took them into the doctors, and while we were waiting- Travis starts crawling under a chair in the waiting room and found something on the floor. He got to his feet and started to run out of the kid area and i grabbed him. I saw he had something in his mouth and started fishing it out and the little stinker put up a fight! "Travis bit my finger" fighting for someones old candy that he did not want to give up. My finger was in the back- so his molars got it good. I had to yank up to get him to release my finger. But I still hadn't gotten the nasty thing out yet, and had to go back in saying "don't bite me" more quietly than before(Lots of old folks were watching us). Instant blood blister popped up and its been throbbing for 2 days now. Lovely. Travis ended up with an ear/sinus infection. and Jonathon has had a low grade fever for a couple days, which they just want me to watch?? Cameron has a viral cold-causing a sore throat? So we've been on antibiotics and croup ointment all weekend. you gotta love the smell of Mentholatum in the spring.???Spring??? What spring-it's finally winter as its snowing outside. A bit ironic.  2 1/2 weeks until Scott comes home! Yay! And we have some good news to announce next week.
