Introducing:

Jonathon Isaac Morley

Born: Saturday January 21st, 2012
Time: 4:30 p.m.
Weight: 8 pounds 1 ounce
Height: 20 inches

He has a full head of black hair! Two dimples(Love it), and long fingers and feet. He is doing well, he has a little jaundice and is down a little in weight. Jonathon is very cute and worth every ounce of pain (labor story coming).  John is a family name on both sides of our families, and Isaac is a family name on Scott's side as well. But John is so old fashioned and Jonathon fit just perfectly.  We are getting used to short nights and no sleep. Here are some fun pictures of our little guy! Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and prayers! They were felt and needed.

39 weeks and still pregnant!

So for those of you who haven't heard yet, the bun is still in the oven. I was induced last weekend and after 24 hours of back pain and contractions, I hit the full dose of Pitosin and was sent home. The doctors thought I might go on my own, but that hasn't happened yet. So I am set to be induced, yet again, tomorrow night, and start the whole process over again. I have always been induced at or before 39 weeks due to the eclampsia and blood clots and seizures with my first. So I am a little nervous to be getting closer to my due date with no change and the risk being higher for this to re-occur.  I have been feeling OK health wise. My blood pressures up a little and I have one foot that is badly swollen, so I look like I have elephantitis. I think the hardest thing, was going through last weekend and being sent home. We had arranged time off for Scott, my parents came into town to be here, and nothing. It was really disheartening and, I admit it, I cried for a couple of days. But alas, time moves on and this baby will come, sooner than later hopefully. I just need to trust my Heavenly Father and know that this is what's right for my family and for this little guy. Hopefully I can introduce you all to him this weekend. I don't plan on walking out of that hospital again-baby-less.

On a side note, my kids were so cute. They planned a birthday party and made decorations and cupcakes and cards for their little brother and bought balloons to bring him, and decorated the house for his arrival. It will just have to be a belated birthday party. Wish me luck, because I really need it! Bonus-we are finally getting snow, and the forecast for tomorrow is 6-12 " of snow. Hope I can make it to the hospital, and that we don't get snowed in.

Travis

Travis is now 18 months old! He is such a fun addition to our family. Travis loves music, and dances around with the biggest smile ever. Travis loves to climb anything. and everything. his newest conquest- our kitchen table. He has a hard time eating real food-the texture kills him. but, he is getting better. He just got 2 teeth in and only has 2 more to go. Travis loves books and loves to pull all the books out of our bookcase. He, I'm afraid ,will be our mischievous one. He loves to explore everything and gets into cupboards and breaks kid locks and he loves to make a beeline for the door when it opens. The nursery workers told me he makes a run for it whenever the door opens and they couldn't believe how fast he was.  He is now signing more and thank you and imitates your sounds and words a lot better.  He is a joy and his smile lights up my heart and our whole family. Today was his 1st day of nursery(by himself)! He did really good until parents started to come and get the kids and I wasn't there yet. I have to say it's pretty hard to wrangle all my kids together after church and then go down the stairs to get him from nursery, and come back up and get coats and get home. Maybe its because I'm so far pregnant, or maybe it will stay that way because I will have added a baby to my cart and it will still be hectic? who knows, I am glad he did well and it was nice to go to Relief Society and  meet some new sisters. I figure I should go at least once before this baby comes. Oh, by the way this new little babe will be here Saturday! Hopefully. We have been scheduled for induction Friday night-13th.....but I so don't want a Friday the 13th b day. So were hoping for the morning of the 14th. No names yet,  but that will come when we see him. I am so grateful for our doctors who are willing to start me early so that Scott can be there with me and work around his rotations.   Here's hoping everything goes well! here's a pic of Travis on his 1st day of nursery:

Happy New Year!

I cant believe it s January 2012! I have to say time is going by quicker over all for me, but slower when I am pregnant. I go in this week for my appointment and hopefully we will be able to pick my induction date. Were hoping for the 14th of January! Today was our first full block schedule in our new ward. They are still giving out mass callings every week. The boys all moved up a class and I was a little surprised when they put Spencer in Senior Primary! AHHH! When did he become old enough for that?? They made awesome CTR shields and are really excited for primary this year. I took Travis down into nursery and stayed with him. Next week he can officially be in there all by himself. Although, Im not sure they will be ready for that. He recently discovered that he can climb up on chairs and therefore, kitchen tables or any table... Today they had to keep telling him to climb down and sit down throughout snack time and coloring. Things to work on, right?

This week is a big one for Scott. He has been writing and researching and writing and putting together his Sr. paper for over 6 months now, and Thursday he hopefully will get the chance to present it(and hopefully it's all ready), so that he can graduate come MAY!  This is his last big assignment, after this its just a waiting game to see if he passed his national boards and then getting a job. Oh and have a baby in a week and a 1/2.:) I am just excited for this year to be over.

So we didn't do much for celebrating the new year, but I thought I should do a little something for the boys, so that they can make a memory and understand it a little better. So we talked about the new year, and what year it would be, and then what would happen around the world when it was time to count down. We had a bunch of popper fireworks leftover from the fourth of July and we went out and splurged on a bag of ice(The one thing I have completely craved this pregnancy is ice:) and bug juices and came home and went and did our fireworks and used our band instruments as noise makers and celebrated at 9p.m.(It was late for them:) the new year. Corny, but fun for them and me. So here are the big things we are looking forward to this new year:

1. Our baby brother arrives healthy and well.
2. Dad passes his boards and Sr. paper
3. Dad graduates in May!
4. Cameron turns 5! And gets to go to kindergarten!whoa!
5. Spencer turns 8 and can get baptized! 2nd grade! Starts Cubscouts!
6. Travis turns 2!
7. We move to wherever we get a job!

So many wonderful, BIG, exciting things in store for us in 2012! Here are a few fun pics from our night!
