36 wks and counting

So yesterday i snuck in a doctors visit while the boys were napping with a sitter. That stinks to pay someone to sit and read, but oh well. Sorry thats a whole different story. The visit was good. I've had two low blood sugar episodes this week, so they are becoming more frequent, but the doctors not too worried about it. I am to switch back over to heprin for the last two weeks so that if I go early they can counter it with a shot. And my blood pressure is still good. So were doing great. The doctor said the 5th or 6th of July are the days most likely to induce and he will decide next week. I have been having a lot more braxton hicks contractions lately and they are no fun-especially at two in the morning:) Ahh what we do to be mothers. On a happier note, Scott is done with his first internship in Burley. He left this morning to go to West Jordan to see his Dad and spend Father's Day weekend with him. Monday he will go on to Evanston for a two week internship with his friend Eric. So were almost able to have him back home with us.. in two more weeks. He had a lot of fun there and the vets were really good to him, so it was a good experience. I hope this next ones just as good. He will get home 1-2 days before this little boy is here. So hopefully we dont go early.

Happy Birthday Cameron!

Yesterday was Camerons 3rd Birthday! I cant believe how fast time fly's! We had a very fun full day of making rolls(which he loves & requested to do),help bake his cake, play with all the balloons he woke up to! Lunch, Naps, and just for fun we went to the Shrek 3 movie. Which is not one I would recommend to anyone.Even Spencer asked if we could leave and go home in between. But it was fun to go out to a movie. Cameron opened his presents of mickey mouse pjs, a mickey mouse clubhouse dvd, candy, and the "Doc" car from Cars. We went and got a pizza & rootbeer from Papa Murphys and came home and had dinner and cake & cupcakes! We then got ready for our sleepover(A.K.A. Party) in the living room. We watched his new movie and he wore his new pajamas and it was a blast! Thanks to everyone for the fun phone calls and packages! Cameron was so excited to get a balloon bouquet delivered to him as well!I still dont have the camera back, but I will try to download the ones from my phone during naps!

So just some info on Cameron right now. He is 3 ft tall. 29lbs. and potty trained! Way to go kid! He is very independent and picky, he has to do completely everything his way or else. The texture thing is getting better, but hes still a little o.c.d. He is a ton of fun and my cuddle bug. His big brother is his best friend, and I love how well they play together. He loves going to church and pretending. He loves to pretend he's an animal. anything from a dog to a lion to a mole. He can handle his own as well, he's our little scrapper and loves to wrestle. He is amazing at hide n seek and his daddy calls him the hounder because he always finds everyone. Right now he is on his stick horse asking me to pet him, cause now he has to go back to heaven... on his horse!:)LOL I love you Cameron! You are adorable and I am so glad you are a part of our family!Happy Birthday bud!

35 1/2 weeks

So at the doctor today, I was told that the baby is measuring normal and when I asked him if he knew the size he said he was probably about 7 lbs! Overall I've only gained 8 lbs, well so far. I am dilated to a 1 though, so that's a plus. I am starting up the non stress tests again tomorrow and I am now on weekly appointments. Only 3 more appointments til he's here! I am truly not prepared, I need to pull out the baby stuff and do some rearranging to make a nursery for him. Put the crib back together, pack bags... it should be fun. I finally bought a baby book for him and I left it at my sisters house, oops:) Oh well, I'll get it sooner or later. Next week we get to pick a date for induction! I am so excited. I pick the 6th of July. We'll see if I can get it, I really just want this one doctor to do it, so we'll have to see if he's available then. Anyways blood pressures good, baby's good, gestational's good. So were good! And I am very relieved.

Were home!

Just a quick update. The boys and I made it back from Burley Tuesday night, and we had a great time visiting family and being with Dad. Sorry no pics, Scott has the camera for his internship- but I'll back log pics when he gets home. We have been traveling a lot, mostly back and forth to Utah and it was worth it. It was great to go to the airport to get Elder Morley--Tanner, the boys really had a lot of fun- they were really excited. And we finally met our nephew Alex. He is so adorable, and he has so much hair, He was blessed last week, and Paul you did a great job! We love staying with Grandpa Morley and will miss him tons. While there the weather was rainy, rainy, oh and more rain.(On a side note- I will not miss having the heat set to 85 degrees or higher!Grandpa sure likes it hot!:) We had lots of fun helping Uncle Tony and doing construction. Thanks so much to everyone who let the boys help, and put up with early morning wakeup calls from Spencer by ringing your doorbell at 7a.m., or just walking into your house and calling into every room until he found you. We had lots of fun and it was soo good to see family. My sister bought her first house and we were able to help her move in as well. Life is just exciting and busy. My health was good for the most part. My feet have been really swollen and I had 2 low blood sugar episodes while there. Those are so weird and hard to describe. We go to the doctor tomorrow and check in, so I'll update later.

Good news!

So I went to the dr this morning and all is well with the babe. he's measuring 32-33 weeks:)and blood pressure is good. My blood sugar levels are great all day but my morning ones are a little elevated. So with a tweak to my schedule hopefully all is well with that. Anyways, the doctor, that good ole doctor, gave me the ok to leave for the whole time! I am very excited to see my hubby! And everyone and everything else we have planned for the next few weeks. And bonus-I dont have to do non-stress tests while we are gone either! I have one tomorrow and then we dont have to do another one until we come back. So as long as my levels are good we can be there the whole time! Such a relief, and its good to know finally what we can do and make some more plans. Now comes the fun part of packing and cleaning for the trip.:(

On another note, Spencer graduated from preschool! It was a very fun filled day, (Pictures coming). Spencers class sang slippery fish and alphabet rock. It was super cute. They were each called up and given their certificates and had pictures taken with their teachers. Then we went outside and released 8 butterflies that Spencers class had watched transform from caterpillars to their crystalisis to become beautiful butterflies. The fire truck came, we played at the water table, outside, facepaint, digging and made bead necklaces.(Watch out family- Spencer was given a bunch to bring home, "So he could make necklaces for his family on moms or dads day or whatever" :) It was a lot of fun and I think he will really miss his school. As we left he kept saying goodbye playground, goodbye fire hydrant, goodbye butterflies..he is such a cute kid-so glad he's mine.
Cameron is completely potty trained! Wahoo, I didnt think it would be possible to have a 2 year old potty trained, but it helps to have an encouraging big brother. He will be 3 soon and he is speaking really well. After church yesterday he says: "Today in church, i gave the prayer." He was so proud! "Oh and he had raisins" :) It truly is amazing how fast these kids grow up. Spencer will be off to kindergarten next year and Cameron to preschool. It is so fun having these boys in our family and watching them learn and grow. Im excited to see how this new little one fits in! Sorry for the long blog, my kids are actually napping so I have way more time.:) Im lucky I know.

THE RESULTS ARE IN:

I recieved the phone call this afternoon that my test came back and unfortunately the levels are high enough to diagnose me with gestational diabetes! I cant believe it. I kind of feel like a failure, like i did something wrong, but ive been reading up on it ever since the call came and I dont feel as bad. With GD there is an increased risk of the baby getting macroplasia(meaning he gets ginormous causing birth problems for both of us) if not treated well. Also an increased risk of preeclampsia-(just what i need again,) and possiblility of being still born. So i am getting scheduled witha dietician who will teach me how to check my blood levels once or twice daily and give me a monitored diet to start. Hopefully this will regulate my glucose levels and all will be well. But i will have to be on a much tighter leash travel wise and with the dr...I guess we can figure it out when i meet with everyone next week.Kind of bummed, but whatever needs to be done to take care of this little boy is first and foremost. I just hope i can regulate it so that i wont have to do insulin shots. Cause thats just what i need to take more shots in a day! Sorry, im venting right now, im still trying to get in the right frame of mind.

Scott's a 3rd Year!

I just want to say how proud I am of Scott! This has been a really interesting and tough year and he's done great. Vet school is flying by, and im sure will only go faster. He's been a great husband and daddy and super busy studying and with his church calling. But he now gets a break. He left today for his 6 week internship in Burley, ID, and then his 2 week one in WY right after that. It's going to be a long summer, and im just hoping the dr.s will let me go for 3 weeks to visit. Heres hoping.
On another note: I was given an anti-nausea pill and was able to retake the 4 hr. glucose test today and I kept it all down. Now we just wait until Monday or Tuesday for the results. Im hoping to pass and then get the all clear to go, so we'll see.
Spencer graduates from preschool this week:( I think that this might be a little harder for me. It wasnt too bad when he went to school and rode the bus, but registering him for kindergarten and knowing that this is it- the next step, and he cant go back and stay my little boy, makes me sad. It goes by so fast, and I just want to keep him young and close. He is such a precious tender little boy, and I love him soo much. I am just really blessed and grateful for all my boys.
